Driving Improvement Program

This is a one-day in-house, in-person program that teaches drivers how to prepare the vehicle for optimum visibility, compensate for environmental factors, drive defensively, the importance of sober driving, effect of alcohol and drugs on driving, DUI/DWI costs and consequences speeding avoidance and react to potentially dangerous traffic situations.

This course is approved in most states for traffic violators seeking point reduction.

In-Person DIP allows the instructor to focus on the needs of the class based on their purpose for being there. The instructor can focus more on DUI/DWI, and/or speeding depending on the offenders’ citations. This also allows for discussion between the instructor and participants in regard to their offense. Occasionally this can result in the offender choosing to seek help in other areas they may be struggling with.
